I think it was Margaret in Minnesota who posted on her blog about buying pregnancy tests on-line, in bulk. From what I remember, they were top-quality and much less expensive than the full price ones; $1 each is super-cheap, but I'm thinking you don't always get the top-quality tests from the dollar stores. Anyway, I thought I'd pass it along so that you could get ones that are both more affordable and reliable. You don't need the emotional roller coaster of messed-up tests that give false positives!

11 years ago, I had a positive test, very early, and starting bleeding two days later. I took another test and it was negative. My OB said (later) that there was no way to know if I had a false positive or a miscarriage since I didn't get a blood test. It has always been in the back of my mind. So, don't feel stupid.

i buy those too. i think they are about .60 per test. I've always found them accurate
