Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Oh, Philothea, what timing! Praying for the A/C. We had this happen last August (which is NOT good in Texas), so we went camping at a lake during the wait time. You can't do that with your poor son's arm.

Praying that he heals perfectly and quickly and that the pain goes away. Praying especially in thanksgiving that he was not hurt more badly! Praying for your housing intentions. Hang in there!

The deal with the A/C is that we're pretty sure the Sears guy wired the thermostat wrong when he put it in in December, so to have the work covered under warranty we need to go through them.

Ian has an appointment with the orthopedist today at 2pm where we will find out how bad the fracture is and whether he will need a full cast or just a splint. Pray with me that a splint will suffice!

(For more info, the fracture is an occult, or hidden fracture of the radial head which was hard to see on the initial X-rays at the ER but they decided it was broken based on an abnormality visible on one of the two X-rays and the amount of swelling within the joint. Based on the amount of pain he's in and the screaming when it happened -- I've only heard that scream one other time in my life and it was when my kid sister broke her wrist -- I agree it is probably broken. We will know more after seeing the orthopedist today.)

It sure is tough when it all happens at once! Praying for your little guy, especially!!! But also for your A/C and house-selling issues. Your plate is full. I'm adding prayers for your peace!

A/C is fixed! Sears came out and it was a faulty thermostat! He replaced it and it's working now, praise the Lord! Just in time for the above 90 temps later this week. Thank you for your prayers on that front, ladies! They worked!

Good news about the AC. Oh how hard! I'll have my Ian (who broke his nose last October) pray for yours. I'm praying for all of your intentions.

Love,

How is your little guy? Toby offered his Rosary intentions for him today.

It's so hard to see your children suffer, praying you are doing well too.
