It's OK, Maddie. I'll cut it, and we'll leave it at that.
Again, doing our best...

My earlier question can be removed if the moderators want.
I hope you will be happy, Molly, and find the peace of soul you seek.

Good bye and God bless Molly. I'm sorry you feel so heart-broken, but am glad that God has given you such strength of faith and mind.

God's many blessings Molly and to the dear little one in utero!
Here's a St. Brigid prayer for you and yours ...
Quote:
I would like the angels of Heaven to be among us. I would like an abundance of peace. I would like full vessels of charity. I would like rich treasures of mercy. I would like cheerfulness to preside over all. I would like Jesus to be present.
– St. Brigid

oh no. I am so sorry if my post caused any of this. Please know that it was not my intention to cause any pain to anyone. I just didn't know who else to ask. I'm very very sorry. Please stay.
I feel awful. I really never meant for this to happen.

Vanna, PLEASE know that this is not about you. You asked a very innocent, legitimate, great question. You have nothing to be sorry about. We are here to support each other. We welcome questions and our members make honest efforts to help each other and answer as best we all can based on our own experiences. None of us is perfect. That's why assuming best intent is so important and it is board policy. Hugs to you! Do not feel bad.

Oh Vanna, you dear, have nothing to feel badly about. You asked a wonderful question and unfortunalty people being people have handled it poorly. Thi has NOTHING to do with you.
I am grateful that Helen has stepped in and helped answer your question so lovingly. I pray you find your answers and put your mind at rest, as your question or you being the cause of ANY disputes.
Have a lovely day.

For the record, I think people answered the question just fine. The Church's teachings as iterated in Humanae Vitae, the writings of the various popes, and the Catechism are the underpinnings of what just about everyone wrote.
