Well I have enjoyed this board immensly over the years. I am sickened by the treatment that has gone on behind the scenes in the teachers lounge (this is where the moderators discuss theboards) over the Christopher West tread and now the NFP thread. I guess I can participate a little bit with Christ' suffering, when even his dear friends abandoned him.
I am not wanted here, I am too "catholic" and orthodox. I now join all the other dear wonderful catholic ladies who needed to leave.
Not sure how long this will be left up, but for those of you who have pm'd me your support, I wanted to let you know where I had gone.

We are VERY grateful for ALLLLLLL the love, prayers and support these boards have given to my family over the years. Hopefully we have given a little back.......my defending and retreating from slander and gossip in no way negates my sincere gratititude to any of you dear wonderful ladies.
Please be assured that I am not a saying anything lightly, I am beyond hurt and sorrowful over this scandal and sin.

Molly, I am sorry to see you go and am surprised to see you mention that you are 'sickened by what has gone on in the Teacher's Lounge.' Nothing behind the scenes that I can see has been negative, attacking, or in anyway contrary to our Faith or the Magisterium. I would be happy to discuss this with you privately if you feel that I'm wrong. I am also surprised that you think we would "censor" you by taking down this thread. I think that we have proven to be very open and willing to hear all sides of issues, and work with our members when they are hurt -- so long as all is done with charity. We are not heavy-handed and censoring. I hope that I have misinterpreted your comment above.
I do not think that you are too Catholic or orthodox. But I do think that it's important that we all realize that sometimes it is possible to have a variety of opinions and still have them all fall within faithful Catholicism -- faithful to the Magisterium. All of our members should feel free to express these opinions (so long as they are not opposed to Catholic teaching and are expressed in charity) without feeling chastised or attacked. (That very reasoning -- to post without feeling chastised -- is why we would not remove this thread.)

If you are going to level this kind of accusation against the woman on this board, at least have the guts to back up the statement with some links to the 'scandal and sin'. I've seen nothing of the sort here. And I really dislike this sort of "I'm leaving" message. It feels so overly-dramatic and attention-seeking to me.

Molly, I, too, would like to know what you mean by "scandal and sin." I have not found this board to be a hotbed of heterodoxy myself, and would appreciate, if you have evidence of scandal and sin, some demonstration of that.
