We saw the play last night, and I do know it is nothing like the book. An older daughter of mine started reading it a couple of years ago, and like many others, never finished it. I guess that beyond the X rated nature of it, it's boring to boot. The play mainly deals with what happens in Oz before Dorothy appears.
