One of the mom's in our homeschool group was in a terrible car accident yesterday. They had to use the jaws of life to get her out of the car and then care flighted her to the hospital where she is in the ICU. She has no broken bones, but serious face trauma, possibly head trauma and some internal bleeding they are trying to track down.
Her name is Megan. Please pray for her and her family. Her daughter and her mother saw the accident happen and watched the aftermath.

Please keep up the prayers. Blessed John Ticcio is the patron of head injuries so we are begging him for a miracle. Megan is not responding as they would like her to and she is still unconscious although now it is on her own. She was in surgery last night for quite a while as a plastic surgeon worked on her face which was badly damaged. Her daughter, Maggie, who was an incredibly bubbly, outgoing girl has been very quiet the past few days and her grandmother is worried about her. Please pray for this family. Pray for a miracle!!!

Woo hoo! She is awake and alert and out of ICU!!!!!! I just got this email:
So far all her responses are normal! In fact, she's tired of them asking her questions, so when they ask her what planet she's from, she says, "Mars" or "Neptune" just to be sarcastic. That's our girl!!!!!!!!
She does have a concussion so they're monitoring that. The spot on the CAT scan is the size of an eraser of a #2 pencil, but it hasn't gotten bigger. They feel confident it won't, and that it will be absorbed by her body!
Thank you for all of the prayers! I am sure her family felt them!

Megan and her family still need prayers. The only update we have received is that she was conscious when she arrived at the hospital but that the doctors knocked her out when she got there. Please keep storming Heaven for this mom, her husband, their children and her mother who is trying to take care of the children right now. Thank you!
