Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The item I bought was described as being in "excellent condition" with no mention of writing.

Again, I take responsibility for not investigating thoroughly.

If so, save the auction page, and if it was me, I would report them and try to get my $$$ back. That is a gross misrepresentation, IMO. There is no way they can say "excellent condition" if it is full of writing!

i have bought and sold on ebay. i've never had a problem buying or selling. i stay away from negative feedback. maybe one, but that is about it. i mostly sell on diaper swappers now (not just diapers, lots of stuff). it is hard to get started there, but once you get feedback it is nice. you don't have to pay ebay fees or paypal fees. i have 2 accounts one for funded paypal with no charges and one for CC paypal where i charge the buyer the charge. i also ship through paypal. DH weighs the packages at the post office, which he passes daily (so no extra gas cost). then i print the postage and he drops it off. i don't buy from people that overcharge on shipping, because i find it annoying. one great lesson my DH taught me about ebay is don't overbid, because the item will always show up again.
