Emily, I am still dealing with sick kiddos, but wanted to write:

I had the same situation as you, but a orange to grapefruit size (it developed a leak, and would vary size) attached onto the sac and placenta as opposed to the other side. I bled and hemorraged for about the first 24 weeks.
the risk wsa that it would burst, and take the sac with the tiny baby Maria with it. (we first saw this at 8 weeks, imagine the size difference, it was horrifying).
anyway, we also discovered after some blood tests that I had two contradictory genetic bleeding disorders, which explains how I lost twins so often (one would live)and why I bled inexplicibly through at least the first 12 weeks if not more of my pregnancies.
PM me if you want specifics or the name of the specialists/lab in TX who work with me (I'm in IL)
praying for you and praying for peace. I know that feeling of trying to grow that baby one day bigger each day and how stressful it can be between sonos.

PS, Emily, we prayed especially for the intercession of St Gianna, I was blessed by her relics as well (they were traveling around the country, it was so incredible)
