I'm begging more prayers for a new slew of concerns, problems, and worries that have descended on my house this week...and the week has only begun .

First and foremost is the safety of two of my children who are going out-of-town tomorrow.

Upon their return, my dh's biopsy is scheduled for June 9th. He found a gland specialist he absolutely loves and our PPO book had his name in it and when dh went to see him in April we were told he took our insurance.

Today we received a notice from the insurance saying he is not PPO and they will not pay. The consultation fee alone was $500!!!

I won't go further down the list but it's getting terribly long and stressful.

Thank you all and I want you to know that I prayed for each one of you and your families at Adoration tonight.

I cringed when I reread this. My apologies if it sounds like you all "owe" me something. I didn't mean it that way at all. I really hate to ask for prayers but I know that we will need them and your prayers bring me so much peace.

OH, Can I tell you just how much this rings a bell??? Sounds just like my neurologist appointments last year, only we didn't receive that critical bit of information until AFTER I'd had SEVERAL appointments and had racked up more than $4000 in fees that they expected us to pay.

Janette, I'm thankful we ran into this before Monday's biopsy, but we're still stuck. The bill we received has not only the consultation fee but an ultrasound fee as well.

Last week it was a notice about a mistake made on oldest ds's income tax. Dh feels responsible and is beyond stressed.
