Thank you for your continued support in prayer. We know that your prayers are helping and we are so grateful to God for His protection and all the grace that He has provided us. In this month of Our Lady, we can't forget to thank Mary for the obvious way that she has held Eddie, and all of us, close to her in this situation.



It was decided today, after an exploratory procedure under general anesthesia, that it was in Eddie's best developmental interest not to do the surgery or wire his jaw shut. So, he still has a severely fractured jaw that the doctors hope will reduce on its own and mold into a new, although imperfect, TMJ. We may elect to do a surgery lower on the jaw in the future to correct the change that will occur to his bite as a result of this choice not to repair the fracture. Please pray that the next couple of weeks pass quickly and with minimal pain for Eddie. It is going to be a difficult recovery for our special young man. We appreciate your prayers more than any of you could possibly know!
