We are definitely in survival mode this week, and it's a clear reminder of why I've fallen in love with and the huge benefit of planning a "basic" menu for the week.

Anyway, I am cooking spaghetti early today so we'll have a pot to eat out of tonight between basketball practice, baseball game, and rosary at funeral home.


Oh Cay, I know that feeling. We're actually just having leftovers. I have leftover hamburgers, potato salad and broccoli salad from yesterday. Warmed burgers aren't the best in flavor, but it frees me up and saves money, right?

Your leftovers sound simply YUM! to me. It's so hot down here I haven't been hungry at all. I'm in the research mode for good summer salads.

I wish I had a maid who would set out some salads for my family tonight.

I just finished ransacking my bedroom for the girls' immunization cards because Chelsea needs to be updated before going to camp this summer.

I finally found it but it set me back even more today. I'm fixing to start the spaghetti before heading to town but I had to come converse here first with all of you dear ones about menus and salads just to let my brain relax from its "frazzled" reality.
