Sorry it took so long to notify all of you, but it took a long time!
Basically, the Judge started the phone conference by stating that his intentions in the order were that ds6 was to be with Father every OTHER week during the times outlined.
The homeschool issue was then discussed and the judge said he would expect that the materials would go with ds6 to Father's when ds6 goes to his house. Concerns were raised of who would do teaching at Father's house, how can they answer Catholic questions as they are not Catholic (or Christian), most of the materials are shared/used with more than one child. Nothing more was said about that.
Custody was not changed, so I still have sole legal and physical custody.
We met the Father at 6pm for his 5 day parenting time, and he immediately asked if he should bring ds6 to my house Monday morning for school. He said he hadn't heard the decision yet. I told him exactly what I just wrote above, and also said that I think school is very important. He agreed and said he would bring ds6 to my home at 7 am on Monday for school and pick him up at 4 pm. Of course, he said this in front of ds6 (and my dh!)
Then he left a message at 6:16 pm on our answering machine that he was not going to drive all the way up to my house, that I have to meet him somewhere, and that he needs documentation that that is what the court ordered. Well, I don't have any documentation yet AND that is not what the court ordered, it is what he offered!
I have contacted HSLDA, because I am concerned at the decision the Judge has made. If ds6 was enrolled in a "traditional" school, he would have to attend every school day. He is enrolled in Sacred Heart homeschool, and he should have to attend. Also, if ds6 was enrolled in a "traditional" school, he wouldn't be enrolled in two different schools in two different districts.
Regardless of all that, PRAYER WORKS.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all of who offered your days, Masses, your Rosaries, your private messages to me, and all the many prayers. Ladies, we truly stormed Heaven!
You are all so wonderful. Thank you so much. I'll be offering up the entire next week for all of you.

Thank God! It sounds like maybe ds's dad is somewhat willing to work with you after all? I will continue to pray for you and your family. I know seperation can be so hard. I will remember you these next five days, especially.
May the Peace of Christ be with you.

SO, SO, happy for you, words just cannot convey my joy and relief for you and your dear boy.

Paula--I have checked in incessantly all day and I am weeping with relief as I type. I know in my heart the school situation will work out too. What a great way to end my day.

Tears of relief here, too. I know the 5 days will be tough, Paula. Be very kind and gentle with yourself--you've been through so much already. Praising God for His great mercies.

I'm rejoicing with you, Paula. And hoping that your son gets to spend the entire school week with you too on a regular basis. I'll pray for your son to have peace during this first lengthy visit.
