I love Margaret but not its derivatives.
Love Irene but its an aunts name...
Jacinta is nice. Caeli is too but it sounds so "cute"-- I wonder if it would grow up well. (I try to envision a 40 year old with some of the cute kids names that are going around right now and they look funny...)

I love all the derivatives: Meg, Maggie, Greta, Gretchen, etc... I've joked that if I had girls, I could just just name them all Margaret .
I always liked Ann Marie and Jane, but they are taken in our family.
My husband loves Dante, so our first two daughters, should we ever have them, will be Beatrice and Lucy. This has not changed in 9+ years

Last baby if it was a girl I really wanted Bernadette Faustina or Faustina Bernadette but my husband told me we could only name her that if she came out an 80 year old lady! (She ended up being Rose Bernadette and it fits her perfectly!)
We're in the midst of deciding names again and have settled on a boy (Luke Xavier) but are still needing a girl's name.
My 5 year old daughter is convinced it's a girl named Lucy Grace. I like Grace Faustina. Or Anne as a first name but I don't know what middle name yet. Or Karoline Grace.
I love saint Philomena but don't care for the name. I wish there was some cute derivative of it.
(We already have a Rebecca Therese and a Rachel Katherine as well so all 3 girls currently have R names, but that was not intentional at all!)

Our little George is only four months old, but I already have more names in case God sends more.
Lucy Evangeline and Margaret Eleanor are next up for girls. My other girls' names are:
Catherine Elizabeth {Therese}
Caroline Grace
Sophie Mireille
Joséphine Marie
Rachel Ann (in heaven)
Beatrice Faith (in heaven)
My grandmother was Arabelle Fostena, and I have grown to love that name.
Blessings,

I like Lucy Evangeline. I've told my husband that we should name this baby Evangeline because this one really seems to be an evangelization baby. Something about the jump from 6 to 7 kids seems to be harder for those around us to fathom so we seem to be getting to do a lot of evangelizing! (My husband also calls this our HHS Mandate baby. All the talk surrounding the mandate really made both of us feel called for another child.)

I have a friend who named their girl a family name, Wilhelmina, and they call her Mina. It is very sweet. Mena might work, though, on its own, it looks like it might be pronounced Meh-na.
