Thank you all. Today is dd's birthday, and it's been very rough. It just plain stinks to feel miserable on your birthday.

On the upside, she played in her first hockey game since the surgery on Saturday and did very well! She still can't open her eye, but otherwise was fine. She says that if the stinging and headache would go away, she'd be back to normal.

We're back to the hospital tomorrow (four-hour round-trip, and they're forcasting freezing rain ), so I'll update when we get home.
