I am glad that you have found comfort in the prayer to St. Joseph. It was indeed a blessing to us many times.

I would like to add three particular "ejaculations" (short prayers that you recite frequently throughout the day) that might bring you some peace as well.

1.) God is good all the time...all the time, God is good.

2.) (From the Divine Mercy) Jesus, I trust in you!

3.) (From scripture) I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.

As you can see from the incredible outpouring of support shown here, no one carries his cross alone. Even our Lord has St. Simon. Trust in God's goodness and mercy.

Praying for you and your family. My dh is currently looking for new employment too so I know how stressful it can be. Stay close to our Blessed mother during this time, she is a great source of comfort.

Jenifer, you all have been in my prayers. May the Holy Spirit bring you peace and guide you to the job that He has waiting for your dh. Praying to St. Joseph and to St. Anthony (our family prays particularly to him for employment concerns) for you.
