We are now unemployed. Just found out....from an inside source at the airline (a new start-up out of Ohio called Skybus). I don't know what we will do. We had private insurance a few months ago but let it go when he was hired by this company. We have a mortgage, we have his car still in Ohio (he shipped it out there since he was spending half his time there), he has a six month lease left on his apartment. We have two young children
I don't know what we are going to do. He is a pilot and with two other airlines recently closing their doors, it will be a tight market for jobs.
Please pray for us.

Here is a wonderful prayer to St. Joseph that my husband and I have made use of in times of stress and joblessness. I hope it brings you and your husband the same peace.
You will be in our prayers.
Dear St. Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsiblity of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement to that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with ever greater blessings from God. Amen.

Oh, Jennifer, this is SO stressful. I am SO sorry! I kind of feel like many of us are just waiting for
the "ax" to fall. I will pray for you in our daily Saint Joseph prayers.
I heartily recommend a rosary novena.

Jenifer - I heard about Skybus closing this morning on the radio. I'm so sorry. My fil was a pilot. Dh's family knows the stress of airlines going under well. Not fun. Prayers here for your family.
