Thank you all. We had to get the police involved last night,   as the man is trying to intimidate us and wants us to leave without any notice (he wanted to stay in the home -with us- for a month). We brought the RCMP here to mediate the situation, but he had parked his truck behind ours and left on foot. 
The RCMP have still not been able to talk to him as he returned hours later on foot and removed his truck. So we have to just wait and see. And try to find something else, there is a serious housing shortage here unfortunately.
Thank you for praying. God has been so good and given us such grace.

Praying to St. Joseph. It sounds like a horribly stressful situation. I am glad you got the RCMP involved. Can you request some kind of restraining order so he can't bother you?

I am not sure of that. The RCMP are anxious to talk with him to inform him of our rights. Until that happens, they have to be able to catch up with him first. I don't know what he will do.
We can press charges if he tries to enter the home without the proper notice, permission, etc... So for now we have a couple of police reports and I think that is a pretty good start. We aren't real anxious to charge him or anything as he is quite elderly, and his daughter requires his care. It is a sad situation really. Although they are very wealthy so they have resources.
Right now I just struggle with anxiety about what will happen next, I feel like I am living in a soap opera.

Definitely. How sad that this man has resources available to him and still feels it necessary to destroy your family's peace. I will pray for him - for a change of heart - as well as keep on praying for you.
