Well, here's what happened.
The opposing attorney stood up and said terrible things about me, and said that my son has social and behavioral issues, and it is all due to homeschooling.
My attorney stood up and said the opposite, and pointed out specific affidavits that back up our position.
The judge has 90 days to make a decision, but stated that he would try to do it within the week.
I'm storming Heaven --- that the judge be given wisdom and guidance to make a decision that is truly in the best interests of my son, and that he makes that decision on actual documented facts.
The boards will be closed all next week, so I won't be able to notify anyone if a decision is received.
I am so grateful and truly thankful for each one of you. Your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me right now, and they are truly helping. I held all of you in my heart yesterday during the trial - and it helped.

Oh, Paula, I will pray for a favorable AND early decision. I have been so worried about you...thank you for posting today.
I know Christ will be walking with you each day of Holy Week, and I hope you'll remember every day that we are praying for you, your son, your husband and the judge.

Paula, I'll be praying for you and your family and the judge. I'll also be praying for your ex-husband that his heart will soften and that he will truly be open to what is in the best interest of his child. My husband and I both have a child from previous marriages and this issue is very close to my heart. Many hugs and prayers from me for you!

Just a clarification - the board is indeed closed all next week - from Palm Sunday through Easter Monday, except for the We Pray to the Lord forum, which will only be closed on Sundays as usual.
Remember that the PM function will still be working and any news can be spread to a smaller degree that way.
