Dear friends,
The additional blood work I had done today confirms that I am miscarrying.
Matt and I think the baby was a girl and we are thinking of names for her.
Thank you for all your prayers and kind words! I have truly felt covered in prayer these last 2 days, and although I'm extremely heartbroken to lose this baby, I feel at peace. I spoke with our priest this afternoon and he assured me that God would give the baby the grace of baptism since Matt and I desired that for her.
Tomorrow is my birthday and my husband brought home a beautiful statue of Our Lady holding the Infant Jesus and a lamb. I like to think that she's holding our little baby like that in Heaven now.
I know that we will be storming Heaven to ask our little one to pray for us. I was thinking today that everytime I pray the Rosary now, I can ask my little saint to pray it with me!
Thank you again for covering my family and I in prayer!
