Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I guess they would get licked clean then.
Too funny.

Btw, I like Method cleaners too..especially the shower cleaner. It's the only shower cleaner that doesn't make me feel sick. And does a good job too.

FYI - I was waiting to order the Honeysuckle for this spring, but they just told me that Rhubarb is their spring-scent this year.....so no Honeysuckle for 2008.

We got our Rhunard and I think it smells great.

Here's a funny story. The day it came in the mail I had a bad stuffy nose from a cold. I couldn't smell anything. Everyone gathered around sniffing and smelling and delighting in their scents. I sniffed excitedly. . .nothing .

Today I could finally smell again and its delightful1

Well I think Basil will now replace Lemon Verbena as my standby. I really really like it!

I looked in the store around here that stocks the most Mrs. Meyers. No rhubarb (at least yet), but I'm with Lisa - I plan on getting some of the basil products. They smell nice and fresh, not too flowery. Next time I'm there, I'll check the essential oil ingredients on the lavender. Maybe I can figure out what's in it that I don't like.

Peace,
Nancy

Marilyn, I use Method hardwood floor cleaner and love it - it smells like Almonds! :) My daughter cleans the bathrooms and she hated the eucalyptus bathroom cleaner.

I've been using the Method -- and I love the bathroom cleaner. See why there has to be such varied flavors and scents. Give me lavender and eucalpytus anyday!! But keep patchouli and anything like it AWAYYYYYYYYYY

Now, see, you ladies are tricky. I wasn't even going to read this thread because I wasn't really interested in any of the scents on the Mrs Meyer's website. And now here you have thrown in a whole different brand discussion! If I hadn't had a down moment to see what y'all could possibly saying about Mrs. Meyer's for all this time, I never would have known that there is a cleaner out there that smells like Eucalyptus!

I love Eucalyptus. I had never even heard of it until I was a newlywed and my dh brought some home saying he loved the smell. So, I try to keep some around to remind me of the early days of our marriage.

I think I will be buying some Method Eucalyptus cleaner next time I am at Target. Thanks!!

Uh, I just used the Lemon Verbena furniture polish this morning and I got a bad headache. That scent it NOT for me.

Love the Geranium toilet bowl cleaner! And Rhubard smells great.

I still have LOTS of Gingerbread leftover.
Will it keep until next November? Is there a shelf life?????

Drugstore.com still has the Spring Cleaning kit in Honeysuckle. Mine was just delivered today. They have a decent selection of some of the other fragrances, too. Plus, it's free shipping on orders of $25 or more, for new customers.

Seconding this. I've been reaching for the basil over the rhubarb every single wipe-down. Yummy!

Now, can anyone tell me how much all purpose cleaner to add to the coutertop spray bottle to make more?

This is on their website:

Making more Countertop Spray with your All Purpose Cleaner:

When the bottle is empty, simply add four tablespoons of our All Purpose Cleaner to 1/2 bottle of water, then you're good to go.

So, 4 T. with 1 cup of water. As their bottle of countertop spray is 16 oz.

Does anyone have trouble with the window cleaner leaving streaks? I love the Mrs. Meyer's line but each bottle of window cleaner I have purchased leaves bad streaks, no matter which scent formulation.

The rest of the line I love.

Rebecca,

I don't use Mrs. Myers (very tempted, reading this thread) but if you used other window cleaners before you may have residue that needs to be stripped from the glass. I had to do this before switching to vinegar for glass cleaning. It was easy. I just made up a spray bottle with water, vinegar and a splash of dish detergent and washed all the glass once with that.

Okay, so I bought the rhubarb set, and the Basil Countertop spray. Just used the Basil, and it is great! I really, really like it - it just smells so fresh. I was kind of overpowered by the geranium, and the baby was okay - not what I was hoping it would be like....so I am really happy with the basil!!!

I haven't tried the rhubarb yet, but dd18 smelled it and said, "This isn't like cleaners, it is like going to Bath & Body Works!"

I figured out the problem I was having with the windows. It wasn't the Mrs. Meyer's at all, it was the flannel rags I was using. They were bleeding on the windows, leaving smudges. I had washed them several times but apparently the dye was pretty heavy. I replaced them and now my windows are clean.

Rebecca--I use coffee filters for wiping windows and mirrors...read it somewhere years ago...they are lint-free and dye-free and cost effective as far as paper goods go. The huge pack that costs like $3 lasts months.
