Anne, I have minor heart issues (with mitral valve) and they do get worse when I have an extended illness or weakness (like anemia). The last time I went through aggravated symptoms was this past fall (though I wasn't sick and didn't have anemia). Increasing my magnesium intake helped tremendously. I pray that your heart symptoms will go away once the virus clears up, and that the you recover from the virus soon! May the Holy Spirit and Our Mother guide you and your doctors/herbalist towards what will best help you.

Anne,
You mentioned low magnesium in your initial post. After my fourth baby, I had symptoms very much like yours. I was sure it was heart damage due to chemo finally catching up with me. It turned out to be very low magnesium. All of it--the irregular heartbeat, the abdominal pain, and the anxiety--resolved when I started a massive magnesium supplementation program. I learned that grand multips who nurse for extended periods are very prone to low magnesium. Do be sure your medical help is following your levels very closely.

Dear Anne - I am continuing to pray for you. I know how frustrating the whole medical mystery thing is. I would like to add to those who have recommended magnesium - I had similar problems after my 4th baby - I was recommended this Natural Calm - Water soluble Magnesium
(I think Peter Gillham is an Australian?)
I have been taking this since Michael was born and have had no problems. It has helped with muscle aches too.
The other thing I am taking this time round is Omega 3 cod liver oil - I am doing the high Vitamin Garden of Life - this can help with heart issues too as well as anxiety and depression..
I am having a lot of pain and inflammation but I think the above two supplements are helping me not to get anxious or depressed. (as well as all the prayers here)
I am posting below the prayer someone sent me that I am praying for you and me and the many on this board that need healing:
Heavenly Father,
I Call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under Your power.
Father, I ask You now to touch me with that same power. For if You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of Your Spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Thank you everyone for continuing prayers and thank you for those who have shared priceless information, it really helps in making things much clearer and strengthens me emotionally.
I got the results of my hair analysis yesterday and there are serious imbalances to certain minerals that are causing a very real 'relative' magnesium problem, so I think that means if the other minerals are balanced I will hold the magnesium better? So I've been put on a new supplementation program which I start this morning which includes magnesium (I also had an injection of magnesium from my thyroid doctor a week ago) The hair analysis report said that some of these imbalances lead to heartbeat problems and inability to fight off viruses...
So it would seem that my magnesium needs are very high while other things are out of whack.
I had a CT scan last Wed (for abdominal pain, it came back clear which was good) and I have taken a big dive since then, extreme weakness, strong irregularity in the beat, so I wonder if the drink I was given for it has sort of upset slightly my delicate position..
I see the cardiologist this coming Friday, I look forward to his views on the situation.

Oh Anne, it never,ever is only one thing out of whack!  It sounds like you have some good,progressive health care providers helping you, and you are perhaps onto the magnesium thing. I hope your appt. with the Cardiologist goes well. Hang in there with the anxiety/panic/fear. I am praying for you!

Thank you once again for praying for me in my hour of need.
I saw the cardioligist last Friday and was given the all clear on anything sinister - just virus and then anxiety related and the beats are settling more and more each day.
It would seem that the vast majority of all this was virus related, even the strange pains in my left abdomen as I now know of three others who have had this same symptom with the virus including my oldest child, I just didn't find that out before the CT scan!  Oh well, it gave me piece of mind to see all my organs in good shape!
My anxiety has also gone, this was a most blessed relief as I have not been prone to it at all in my married years but for those who may know, anxiety was an issue with me when I first suffered from my mercury posioning and I didn't want to go back down that track!
I'm still a little tired and sense the need for extra rest every day in order to properly recover but I can see forward with all now, which I found difficult to do before.
Thank you once again! I will have a Mass offered in thanksgiving asking God to remember all your intentions.
