Oh, Angie, how well I remember that particular heartache!
I know you are happy for those children to find their home, but DO allow yourself to grieve because it IS a loss for you. It is amazing how quickly we let our dreams get wrapped around the possibility of a child coming home to us. And it is sooooo hard to let that go.
But, as you know, God has His own plan for your family, and I've a feeling he isn't finished with you yet!

Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulders, friends. Thank you for your prayers and kind words. Now that I've had a few days to settle into our latest truth, I'm feeling more peaceful, praise God. Any grace that you see in me, comes directly from God...and from me following your many examples over the years of how to handle loss like a saint...I'm learning...slowly but surely and I thank you again  .
I was blessed to listen to Bishop Olmsted (Phoenix) speak at a pro-life gathering a few months back. He talked about the beauty and love of freely choosing to enter into the suffering of others. There is so much suffering among children and their troubled families.
I find great consolation in knowing that God provides what we need when we say "yes" to him each day. Plus, we know that without others freely choosing to enter into *our* suffering, we simple couldn't function. The Body of Christ is so beautiful!
Aaaaaaaaaaa, I'm crying again . And I'm off to ready my house for a Home Safety Inspection on Tuesday. Thanking you for your prayers one more time!
