Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Until baby number seven we squished 6 kids into a holden station wagon with the extra three seats in the boot.
Pride was a big issue for me, so conspicuous the big 'buses'.

When we had baby number seven we bought a 14 seater. I love it!! So much room, once I was used to it so easy to drive. Dh did tint the windows though so we have some privacy, you know no counting the heads at stops.

It is very handy to be able to take friends children, family members etc. Although our dc plan on us filling the seats with siblings.

You know.. thinking about it.. the big vans may seem conspicuous.. but I've noticed way more attention was paid to us in the maxed out mini van.. you know.. we did sorta look like a clown car unloading

I agree, Jodie...I have had people literally chuckle as they see all five kids pouring out of the van, along with some goldfish, sippie cups and chicken nuggets!

Thanks for all of your input ladies. We still have some time but I think we may as well go for the 12 or 15 passenger. It doesn't seem that anyone has regretted such a decision. You guys are truly heroic...whether you're toting 2, 4, or 10 kids around in your large, expansive vehicles! You're an incredible witness to the beauty of being open to life. God Bless and thanks for the advice.
