A wonderful picture book we just got from the library is Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit. It's a gentle introduction to the topics of hibernation, migration, and the change of the seasons.

I just wanted to add another great winter/nature study picture book we just got: Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner. Definitely, a great addition to our winter animal habitat collection.
