Hi, Friends.........you know how sometimes the going gets TOUGH before it gets better, when we are in these Rosary Novenas? Well, it is happening here...

Could you please pray us through it?

How about you? Anybody else feeling the devil hard at work, fighting us?

Let us know, so we can pray you through it.

For those of you new at praying the Rosary Novena......this often happens. You feel like things should be improving, you are praying after all......but then you feel discouraged....keep at it! Do you really think Satan is happy we are praying Our Lady's favorite prayer? NO WAY. He wants to discourage us....don't let him! Fight him.......keep praying, and make frequent use of the Sacraments AND holy water!

Thanks for your prayers........we need them strongly this week, and especially today!

God bless..........keeping your intentions close to mine in this novena.

Yes Chari! I am feeling it! This is spiritual warfare. I'm so glad you brought this up - I felt I was being so weak. I'm trying hard not to knuckle under the great temptations. Our priest gave me such a boost this Sunday during the homily, reminding me of the great importance of daily prayer in providing the necessary graces to overcome temptation. He also reminded me that the great (hopefully soon Saint) Bishop Fulton Sheen said that St. Peter would have never denied Our Lord three times (given in to temptation) if he had been walking with Him instead of following at a distance or lurking behind. Am I lurking behind? Distracted?

It was an opportunity for reflection for me, and re-focus. I have decided to send up an extra Memorare every time I feel tempted.    

Continuing with the Rosary Novena, remembering you especially. Blessed Virgin, intercede for us and protect us!

Would you update this thread again in the middle of the Rosary when we shift from supplication to thanksgiving...as a reminder for me?

Jennifer........I somehow came out of my fog for a brief moment to remember your request..........tomorrow...WED.....is the 27th day.......and Thurs begins the thanksgiving part.....hope I spelled everything right....

now........I am going to go listen to my rosary.......all I can do right now.

request prayers for my hubby RIGHT NOW....as he deals with the boss in town this week.....and the burden of a wife too sick to drive kids anywhere or do anything......and pray he does not get this.....it would devastate his life for the moment....gotta feed and fix teeth you know.....

wow.......wrote more than I thought I could........back to hiding.....

I trust that Our Lady will cover you during these trials, begging especially for the intercession of Our Lady, Help of the Helpless this morning for you and your dh.

Storming heaven that this illness is short lived and life returns to its normal pace soon!
