Willa, I can only imagine your stress. As Cay said, I have only 4 children (well, she said 5) and no medical issues and I forget -- regularly. And having been with my post transplant dad when his numbers are suddenly high, I know the stress that it causes. My prayers for you, your family and Aidan continue.

Friends,
I just wanted to update. Aidan's liver numbers are back to normal or very close to it. He has been acting GREAT! healthy and full of energy.
Also, he got the Botox injections today. I was about to go on here and say how smoothly it went.... for about the first time in his life, the EMLA seemed to work and he was astonished and relieved by how fast and easy the injections were -- six of them.
When I researched Botox just recently the side effects listed were rare and for the most part very mild. Then this very evening an FDA report came out saying that rare but serious side effects have occurred with Botox users. Report here Sigh. Right now the reports are so sketchy we don't know if Aidan's in the risk category or not.... DH is googling on his computer as I type on here.
Anyway, I thought I'd update. Everything has gone remarkably well and I have been really feeling the grace from the prayers.
So mostly good news. I am so grateful for your prayers. I am hoping that the Botox will help Aidan retrain his muscles -- we have to drive 100 miles round trip for therapy twice a week now while the Botox is working, so I am hoping I can keep up with everything else going on -- 2 kids who are doing college applications, and five kids homeschooling.
Saying my daily prayers for all your intentions.

Willa, praying for lots of energy for YOU and that Aidan's Botox is as beneficial for him as it has been for my Jane. And praise God about those liver numbers!! Hooray! You must be relieved.
Your schedule sounds killer. Please make sure you are eating well and taking care of yourself. I know that's easier said than done for us all but that old "put the oxygen mask on yourself before putting it on your child" on a plane is true in all of life.
I'm praying that if you are feeling tired and overwhelmed or stressed, the Holy Spirit will remind you that many loving moms on this forum are praying for your intentions.
Hugs from Kansas,
Mary Alice
