Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I frequent two other boards but they are secular. I go to them for info on my soapmaking and candlemaking. They can get pretty nasty and personal sometimes especially to Christians. This is the place I love to come to and be with like minded women who are respectful of and to each other.    I was soooo very happy to have found this board!

This is the only board I visit.

I'm not a childbirth teacher, but I'd like to be one when I grow up.    And a midwife.

This is one of my two all time favourite boards and I am not even Catholic. I did love FIAR when I used it.

(The WTM boards are very useful but overwhelming and impersonal to me.)

Just about all my favourite blogs are Catholic blogs, too!

This is my main board. I am on the local Catholic homeschool list, but, um, they aren't real big on "discussion."

In trying to live out our new year motto, Spacious Order, I just freed up some space in my inbox and yahoogroup page by...gulp...leaving several well-loved yahoogroups. It was tough. The only time I go to blogs (other than my dds) is when I'm directed to them from here. 4Real is my online home - spacious and orderly .

Love,

I read and post to a childbirth-related Yahoogroup (for mothers, not specifically for childbirth educators etc.) I have subscriptions to various Yahoogroups and other mailing lists but I can't think of any others from which I often read many of the posts or even check on them if they don't come to my main inbox. Most of my Yahoogroups are set to Web-only.

A friend (not super-close so it's down to a few e-mails here and there) who moved across the country has sent me a few invites to this site called mamasource.com. Has anyone used this? I'm interested (she has four kids and even when she had fewer never seemed prone to wasting time on the Internet so if she likes it it may be worth my while) but, well, I always read the terms of service when I have to "accept" them to register on a site, so I've been putting it off!
