Dear Christy - I am praying from you and understanding your pain - though my recent woes are nothing compared to yours. Here is a prayer that someone sent me that I posted on another thread:

Heavenly Father,

I Call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under Your power.

Father, I ask You now to touch me with that same power. For if You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of Your Spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through my body to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve You the rest of my life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Marilyn-thankyou so very much! That prayer is so beautiful and powerful! I have been tweaking it a wee bit,but I really,really thankyou.

UPDATE!!!!

My fever broke on Christmas Eve day!!! I had a bit of an ordeal before that however.....I tried to go out and do a little shopping the day before, and ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital. IN a nutshell, my fever soared, my blood pressure dropped, and my pulse dropped. At first I thought iwas having a panic attack-then started seeing black. Thank God two student nurses were nearby, and they helped me. My doc said it was part virus, part adrenal crash.

But I am doing much better now! If I overdo it, I end up back in bed by early evening, and my throat hurts. But all of it is getting better.

Continuing to pray Christy. I have a wonderful CD I listened to last week - about redemptive suffering. You can get a free cd fromRedemptive Suffering

It has really helped me to offer up the suffering. If you have any trouble getting one let me know and I will send you mine.

Christy, I am praying and I feel for you greatly, struggling with similar problems when I was younger - detoxification was the route I needed to take for myself - I pray that God will lead you to better health and healing!
