Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My Andrew is now 14, so we didn't do all the cute and fun things we've done in the past when he was younger. But he did request his favorite cake for dinner (Everything Carrot Cake-yum!) and I also made fish, which ended up being kind of penitential (more in the spirit of Advent than feast of Andrew) because it didn't come off that well. It was talapia (ds had to inform me that St. Andrew wouldn't have had that fish) which I had never tried cooking before and the sauce was well . . . Advent-ish. We had a great day anyway - name days are so fun. We took cupcakes and hot cocoa to co-op and the kids really appreciated it.
Happy Name Day to all your Andrews!!

The only one I've seen is Catholicmom.com's which is only his shield.
St. Andrew shield coloring page

Here is also a Fishers of Men coloring page which you could say is Andrew and Peter .

St. Andrew food ideas:

I had been thinking of the easy St. Andrew's "fishers of men" snack idea I posted way back in a really old thread (can't believe it's 5 years ago ). I posted it to Catholic Cuisine with pictures yesterday.

Tonight for dinner we are having fish and potato boats in the style of Maryan's OLo Victory (Lepanto) potato boats. I'll use a St. Andrew crest for the sail.

A guest author at Catholic Cuisine posted a recipe for St. Andrew scones - look yummy.

Hey good idea Mary! I have potatoes and skewers here. But my boys are drooling over your goldfish, but I am not going out in the rain with a baby.
