Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

With our driving Catie to Seton, we've been doing lots of books on CD -- the kids' favorite handsdown are the ones from Agatha Christie books! They love trying to figure out who did it! The writing and descriptions are amazing too.

We loved "The Toothpaste Millionaire" and anything by Andrew Clements (especially "The School Story").

Also "My Side of the Mountain", "Stone Fox", "Sign of the Beaver", "The Witch of Blackbird Pond", and "The Indian in the Cupboard".
