My poor hubby fell half way down the stairs with our first baby when he was only a few weeks old. The cat darted between his legs like the devil was chasing it just as he was in mid step. The baby wasn't hurt at all, just a scraped knee, but poor hubby was never so grateful to dislocate a collar bone in his life by twisting to land on the bottom. He didn't even notice the dislocation at first he was that terrified that he'd hurt the baby.
