Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Amy - Thank you for the prayers today.
Also, thank you to all who prayed last week when surgery was originally scheduled. I feel that everyone's prayers were heard and answered.

I was really anxious about the anesthesia, but it turns out that my anxiety was for nothing.

So many things to be thankful for.. I'll just have to blog about it when I am a bit more alert to write a coherent post.

Blessings!

Kristina, I've been praying for you and continued prayers for your recovery. Rest and take it easy!

Kristina, I missed your update. So glad to hear surgery went well. We'll continue praying.

You have been in my prayers, Kristina. The funny thing is that all day Thursday, I was thinking that it was Wednesday. And I kept praying for you and reminding myself that tomorrow -- Thursday -- I wanted to bump your thread. So Friday morning I got on the computer thinking that it was Thursday, only to realize that it was really Friday and that you'd already had your surgery!       Well, I had good intentions and was praying!    I'm so glad that it went well. It sounds (from your blog) like it was a very blessed day. I hope that the "rehab" days are going as well.

Oh, thank you so much Janette! God is outside of time, so whenever you prayed, they have been heard and answered.

My husband has been home with us so far, so I am sure there will be interesting "challenges" just ahead. Right now, I am focusing on the things I can do. One advantage is that I have plenty of guilt-free time to visit my favorite corner of the internet, 4real

Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for me. There have been so many graces and I am sure they are the fruit of prayers!

Blessings,
kristina
