Please pray for me to have peace for these last two weeks of pregnancy, and also for the baby to be healthy.
I just found out I tested positive for group B strep. I've never tested positive before and I'm not sure what to expect. (It wasn't fun reading about it on line.) My plan was to not have any intervention at the hospital, but now I'll have to be hooked up to an iv.
I'm also concerned about the timing, since my husband goes on leave on my due date and has to go back to work the following Monday. I'm hoping I won't have to be induced that Tuesday. The Dr. insisted on stripping my membranes today, even though I wanted to wait until at least next week, but I'm not forceful enough to say no. So now, I'll wait and see if it works.
I was going to begin another novena today, but I realized on my way home that my 54 day Rosary novena ends in 9 days. Please pray that the baby is healthy and that there be no complications. I know St. Therese is interceding, but I need to have peace about so many things.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers. You are all in my prayers.
ETA-
I've had a severe headache since early this morning, and things at home have been pretty rough lately.

I'll be praying for you, Ruth.
I tested postive for this six years ago with Annie.
God's hand was in our safety the whole time, especially since I had all the wonderful prayers coming from many of the ladies who are still in this forum.

You have my prayers. Praying short-term that your headache goes away quickly; things like that can make it so much more difficult to seek and find peace about other things. Also praying that everything else is well and for your peace of mind as you wait to meet your darling little one in person.

Ruth-
I have tested Positive for GBS with all four preg. While it's annoying to be poked when you're in labor, it's really not a big concern.
Instead of being continuously hooked up to an IV, can you ask for a 'butterfly IV' or whatever they call it? I'm only hooked up for 10 min or so (at home).
