Thank you all for your prayers. Things got a little bit better over the weekend, but I went to the dr. anyway this morning. She thinks they are sebaceous cysts. I don't know too much about these, but from what I have read I'm not sure I agree. She prescribed antibiotics but I'm going to try to ride it out since (at least one of them) is getting a bit better on it's own. Anyone know anything about these?

Lisa, I know that Boils can be quite serious- a form of staph, is there a reason that she did not think that is what they were? they are fairly common for pregnant, postpartum, and nursing moms to get..

Lisa, This was the first (and last!) time I've seen this doctor. She barly glanced at the spot on my arm, she didn't ask me any questions about my general health and circumstances etc... I do think they are boils and not cysts. I read in one place that they are common in breastfeeding women, I've never had this before. I'm going to give them a few more days and see what happens.

Hey....I missed this over the weekend. I'll start praying for you now. I think S. had a sebaceous cyst a while back...but it wasn't anything like what you're describing. I'll ask him about it. You hide illness well...you looked so nice at Mass yesterday! One of my girls even noted you'd gotten your hair cut!

Lisa, I'm so sorry that the doctor's appointment wasn't what you expected. I'm praying that you get better or that at least the Holy Spirit will guide you to answers and to something that will help.
