Please pray for my parents who were just asked to evacuate their house in Lake Arrowhead, CA. They were only able to grab their pets and a few personal belongings.

UPDATE
We are pretty sure our parents lost their house. Most houses were lost on their street. the fire fighters had to abandon that particular area because it got so bad. One man stayed and managed to save a couple houses on their street. I am praying that one of the houses saved is theirs.

Also, my sister-in-law's mother, sister, and brother loss their houses. My heart is so heavy. This is so tragic.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY! Your prayers are so much appreciated at this time.

UPDATE #2

I received a phone call from my parents this morning.
This is an unbelievable MIRACLE. A firefighter who lives on my parents street stayed behind to save his house. He lost his house in the fire but continued to stay and fight the fire around my parent's house and other houses on their street. THEIR HOUSE IS SAVED! This man is a hero and the epitome of Christian charity.    My heart swells with such gratitude of what this man did. Thank you ladies for all of your prayers. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it.

Please pray for this man and his family. Thank you.

Praying, Marianne. I know things are horrible in Lake Arrowhead. We haven't heard much news about the fires north of us because of the extent of fire here, but my sister, who lives in Orange County, said things are bad there. I hope your parents' home is spared.
