I'm so glad to hear all the great reports. Will continue to pray for Ian's recovery, including his thumb. And I'm glad you got a nap in there, too! The caregiver needs to get some rest, too!

 I'm just joking...but I have been praying Angie. Long story short: I had an accident as a teen that moved my nose off center, got it fixed by a grisly old army surgeon, went to have sinus surgery a few years ago and the surgeon said I had the straightest septum he'd ever seen.
Poor Ian; we'll keep praying!

Well...he's still benched. It is getting long and hard but he is doing well considering. We have another follow-up in 2 weeks.

We're back and we received wonderful news...his healing is great and we have no further need for follow-up care! I was a bit worried as we headed to the appointment because ds still sounds like he isn't breathing clearly. It ends up that the dr. said ds's congestion was due to allergies! I never thought I would be pleased to hear "allergies" but it sure beat other post-op scenarios I was imagining!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Ian thanks you, too  .
