Thank you...thank you! Ian slept well last night. He didn't even wake for pain meds! He woke up very hopeful this morning and we're all just getting into our new groove. This will be a long haul with a lot of adjustments so we'll be depending on your prayers for a bit longer  . We're off to the specialist shortly. With travel and appointment, this will take up a big part of our day. Thank you so much for holding us in prayer!
(Chari, arnica, arnica, arnica, is right! Started as soon as he came home with the injury and are continuing use.)

You all are the best! Friends, we received the best scenario possible! The specialist was awesome, ordered a CT for tomorrow, surgery Saturday, a splint on the nose and no athletics for two weeks, six weeks for complete healing, done! We just can't believe it. So many little things went right that I can't even list them all (got the appt. with the specialist so quickly, got into the appointment 5 minutes early, the specialist is on vacation NEXT week and is willing to squeeze Ian in, dh is in town, on and on...)

You all have been so great. All went without a hitch this morning and Ian is SO much better. We'll be back at the specialist in 10 days. Something else, his thumb that was also injured may need further attention so if you could keep us in your prayers just a bit longer, we would sure appreciate it.
