Please pray for a good friend, Mike was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. We attended he and his wife's wedding on the beach in the middle of Hurricane Ivan. Great diver, everyone is in denial that he of all people could have had an accident. He was captaining the dive boat out to one of the wrecks. Some of the scuba divers saw him free diving on the mooring line and became alarmed when he didn't resurface. It had to be a shallow water blackout. There is a service tonight we'll be attending.
Please pray for his widow, Kim is 4 months pregnant with their first child.

Thanks Celeste, Donna, Joann and Cay. This is so hard, I helped throw Kim's wedding shower, we went to Miami to buy her wedding dress, I would so much rather be planning her baby shower today than getting ready to go to Mike's service. I guess it isn't a funeral because he is being taken home to where his parents live to be buried? No graveyards in the Keys really.

That was one of the hardest things I've ever attended. It was held at the dive shop and they had hundreds of pictures of Mike and cute little stories about him all over the walls. There is a huge area outside in the back where they set up a bar and tables so at least we could get out in the fresh air. Kim was collapsed on the floor in the middle of the shop, it was awful.
