My dh is having chest pains and is off to the ER.
Please pray for us.
***************UPDATE*******************************
We're home now.
They ran a triage EKG and told him everything looked good.
We waited 6 hours to get blood drawn and no one came so we'll go back tomorrow for the blood draw and perhaps a 2nd EKG.
Steve said he's feeling better - we're both going to have some red wine, right now....

Sooooooo......
we were at the hospital for about 3.5 hours yesterday pushing paper! Apparently, Steve wasn't in their system despite the fact that they had the wrong birthdate?!?!?!
We finally have an appt for Thursday at 10:00am.
He continued to feel better yesterday through last night so my initial thoughts on this is what Stef said about it being stress related....
We'll know more tomorrow!
In the meantime, my sweet son is having some eye issues so I'll be back at the doc today!
THANK GOD FOR BENEFITS! We went without them for soooooo long and now we've used them so much in the past few days......

We had a wonderful appt today and he gave Steve a second EKG - which turned up normal - and ordered blood tests, a chest x-ray and a treadmill test - the treadmill test will be one day next week.
Steve also has to start taking a baby aspirin a day and the doc gave him a prescription for sublingual nitroglycerin pills in the even he has another episode.
The doc also examined him and isn't quite sure it was a cardiac event but is doing all of this as prelims and cautions.
The best case scenario is this could have been a "vascular event" which means his bodily fluids were redistributing. This would be the best case scenario.
We got home around 4:00pm and I showered and went off to sleep. I can't believe how tired I am.
I know this week has been a good thing for us.
I really appreciate your prayers and I know Steve does as well.

We had the treadmill test on Tuesday and everything looks okay.
We're waiting for the official word from the doctor but for now everything seems okay.
