I read about St Matthew
I just sent the little girls around the house for a scavenger hunt. They were asked to find a bible, coins, and saint books with St Matthew's picture. (I had three little bags to put the coins in.) I printed out the coloring page from above and a picture of St. Matthew's symbol. We took out our apostle wooden dolls and put everything on a table in the family room.

Let's see if I can cook something.

There is a great explanation/story in the Loyola Treasury of Saints about "tax collectors"...the historical/cultural aspects and why it was so incredible that Jesus chose Matthew to "follow me."
