I'm home.   
I can't believe it -this doctor who is notorious for keeping people, this doctor who supposedly tells everyone they are even farther along than other doctors dilation/effacement wise, told me that I was even LESS dilated/effaced than last week!
So, no induction today, nothing planned for tomorrow. I am confident that this is God's will to give me a better birth somehow, but boy am I (temporarily) disappointed!
Guess I'll just be posting some middle of the night when I actually go into labor! 
Thank you so much for all of your prayers. Sorry they were for naught.

Our prayers were not in vain! God has His timing, as much as we very pregnant ladies would like to do things our own way. 
Hang in there! It can't be too much longer.

Oh Amy, I know that feeling when you work yourself up into thinking it'll be today and it isn't...shucks...but try to think how sweetly snuggled and comfy your little one is, for a little while longer...why don't you use the extra time and the on-call parents to pamper yourself a little bit to prepare for a good birth...nap, go to adoration, soak in a warm bath and drink your red raspberry leaf tea...and I'll pray that when I next read these boards, you'll be on your way!
