I just have to share this story. This past Monday, my dh was doing private work in the courts in downtown Phoenix. Once he finished, he thought of a deli he had been to in the area in 1996. He planned to grab a sandwich fast and then head to the noon Mass at the Basilica. He walked into the deli and found the top brass of the IHS office. One of the men knew dh and offered to introduce him around. The next thing dh knew, he was invited to join them for lunch and had an informal interview with the Director. Dh felt "on" (although he wasn't able to eat!) At the end of the meal, the Director said that he would send dh's paperwork to personnel, and the rest you know! I'm pretty sure that dh's guardian angel whispered in his ear...hot pastrami...hot pastrami .
I know that God is always with us, yet, it is so overwhelming...so humbling...when you can feel His hand in such an obvious, overt, way.
Love,

Wow, that definitely shows the hand of God.
I just keep thinking of you as the persistent old widow in the Gospel parable...keep asking, keep asking until God finally gives in. PRaise be to God!

This is wonderful news Angie. Congratulations. It's been such a long process I forgot--will this mean staying where you are? I may be out Phoenix way in the Spring! |

You're right, Gwen...we are now able to put our roots down (imagine that!) and we'll be here in the Spring and would love to have you!
