Praying here, too. As a word of hope, my dh worked for three years for an Alaskan Native corporation. When he applied for the job he knew there was a Native preference but applied anyway as the job was such a good fit for his experience and qualifications. He never thought he'd get it, but as it turned out they'd been advertizing for some time with no qualified candidates applying, so he got the job, in spite of being a white male! It is harder to get those positions, but it really does happen!

It's official! Dave has made it onto two panels! This means that for these two positions, there were no Indian candidates. So...we're hoping that Dave gets some interviews and that a decision will be made by the end of the month. This is a ray of sunshine in a rather cloudy time. Thank you so much for your prayers...they are powerful!
Also, as I've mentioned before, we have been on our knees daily praying for Dave and his work and we've been included all the husbands/dads on this list who facing employment difficulties. We'll keep praying!

Dave has a telephone interview tomorrow (Wednesday, September 20) at 1:00 WST/4:00 EST!
Thank you so much for holding us in prayer for so long! For tomorrow, pray that all goes smoothly, especially since Dave will be on his cell phone on the road somewhere between here and Albuquerque NM.
I literally just got off the phone with Dave and couldn't wait to share the good news with all of you.
