She's so sweet! Thank you for sharing photos of her special day. I'm still praying for her.

And I want to let you know that my Catherine (who has a special devotion to St. Therese) has made your Katie a special prayer project of hers. Our Catie, I think I mentioned earlier, was also a NICU baby.

I look forward to hearing more about Catherine Rose as she grows!

Eleanor, I must have missed this prayer request because I was out of town when you first posted.

First, congratulations to you on the birth of your lovely Katie rose!

Second, babies born with heart defects are near and dear to me........I have a robust 14 1/5 yr who was born with a rare heart defect. She had heart surgey at 9 days of age, and at 6yrs and we are waiting for the next......hopefully many yrs off still.

Dr. Hanley did the surgery at UCSF, but he took his team to Stanford, where we will go next. Do you have Dr. Hanley? He is one of the top pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons in the world. He did great work on my girl...........her cardiologist is impressed every time .......and he has seen her for 14 yrs!

Third, Saint John of God is the patron saint of heart patients...........we pray to him daily! His feast day is in March (the 8th? 9th? 12th?). Katie is added to those prayers!

Fourth, I promise our prayers from up here in Northern California!
