As I've mentioned here, we've been recently blessed with a baby girl. We've been incredibly busy since then. Emily developed jaundice and became very sleepy. I had to give up nursing her since she was losing weight so quickly, despite hourly round the clock feedings. We've had to go back to the hospital to have her go under the UV lights and since we've been home this second time, the jaundice and poor appetite have been rearing their ugly heads again.
As if this wasn't trying enough, my mom, who was planning to be here to help us with the baby, isn't scheduled to arrive until tomorrow. She lives 2000 km away so it was pretty difficult to change her plane ticket. So far, dh and I have been on our own, completely, save for Emily's birth date.
I am overtired and cranky. And nearing the end of my rope. Please pray that I don't fall off!
(I'll be taking an internet break for a month or so. Thanks in advance.)

Prayers coming, Susan!
I felt that way after the birth of my 4th in less than 4 years and after him almost dying and having a 5 day NICU stay...my mom left the morning after we brought him home from the hospital - the day after my 33rd birthday. I remember standing in my kitchen crying wondering how I was going to be able to handle a 3 year old, 2 year old, 1 year old and and newborn, and her taking me by the shoulders and saying "YOU WILL MAKE IT! GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH! HE GAVE YOU THIS, HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH!"
Consider this your cyber shoulder grab - I know you FEEL like you won't make it - BUT YOU WILL!
