Well I've just talked to Chemai again as some news with hope has come in.
She is at this hospital, surrounded by Catholic doctors, two of which are very devote and holy men (as I know them and so does Chemai)
They have been discussing and are going to try something quite new tomorrow. They will be inserting progesterone through her cervix into the uterus (I think this is how it goes and it will be done daily) There has been a study released that has had outstanding results. It was published in a medical journal on the 4th of this month. I believe it's main purpose is to prevent miscarriage/early labour.
So hoping and praying that this will give Augustine the time he needs.
I have printed up the thread so far to give Chemai. It has cheered her immensely to see it (she has the most beautiful smile and she was beaming  ) as it has been such an overwhelming day for her and to be back where she had been with her little Jonathan, in way has not made all of this very easy for her...even though she knows she can be in no better hands here.

Annie -- thanks so much for keeping us updated ... please let Chemai know she is in our prayers and with a name like Augustine (and thus, a patron like Augustine!), the baby should do just fine!

Many prayers for Chemai and Augustine and the rest of the family, and all the doctors.
This situation is bringing back memories -- I was 75% effaced at 22 weeks with my son. "Getting to 28 Weeks" was our first big goal...I feel for her...

Anne, thanks for posting the updates. What a blessing to have Catholic doctors working on her! We are praying very hard for Chemai and her little Augustine (love the name!) here!!

Poor Chemai....what a trial!! We are praying!!! We have a special devotion to St. Augustine...that baby is in good hands with St. Augustine as his patron!!!!!
