Our prayers continue, Anne! It is such a miracle that she's done so well so far in spite of all the complications. Praying especially that the Holy Spirit will guide the doctors to unity and what is best for Chemai and Augustine.

Still praying many times everyday.
(Campbell in particular always makes sure he remember to include Chemai and Augustine when it's his turn to say grace.)

God be with you!

Nearly there now! I can hardly wait until it's time.
Ooops, sent before finishing.
How is Chemai doing, Anne? Am I correct, she's got about 8-10 weeks left? We continue to pray "grow big" prayers for little Augustine. And we're thinking of him especially today on our dear Father Augustine's birthday.

We are getting excited here as it must almost be time for Augustine to make his appearance??
How many weeks would Chemai be now, Anne?
Would love to hear how they are doing.
We continue to pray for all the family.

Tricia, you won't believe this, but I've just hopped off the phone, talking to Chemai.
Tomorrow they find out the ceasarian date!! The doctors are now delaying the date as well, not wanting to ceasar now until 38-39 weeks, which will take them right up close to Christmas.
I think Chemai is hoping that it will be closer to 38 than 39, so as to be home in time for Christmas with this much anticipated bundle!
Chemai will be 36 weeks this Sunday, I believe. It is such an incredible miracle that it has turned out this way - THE POWER OF PRAYER - and the dear girls here have been such an enormous part of that, by far!
God Bless, Anne

God carries us during trying times. What wonderful news! Thank you, Anne for all of your wonderful updates. Even though I'm not in need (or at least I don't *recognize* being in need) of prayers currently, I feel buoyed by all the support on this forum. I feel that the moment I ask, prayers will be forthcoming. Thank you all!
What a merry Christmas Chemai and her family will have!

Dear friends, I am asking for prayers again for Chemai. She found out that the hospital is sheduling the ceasar for Christmas Eve at 39.1weeks gestation.
Chemai is very concerned about this news for a few reasons: it is better for her to have the elective ceasar rather than go into labour and ceasar as she reacts violently to epidurals and will be receiving a general anesthetic as long as things don't happen too quickly, 39.1 weeks increases the chance of going into labour itself and having a rushed ceasar, possibly under an epidural - Chemai's past symptoms to these go on for weeks after and are of a severe nature.
Also it means staying in this city for Christmas, even though their home is almost 3 hours away, I think they really saw the cheery prospect of being at home with Augustine for Christmas, as it has been such a emotional ride for everyone, their focus has been on that.
Scott was to take over the running of Australia's biggest Catholic pro-life group in another city (Sydney) when Chemai's ordeal started and so the job is on hold until the New Year, as they really need his skills and committment but in the meantime Scott has not been able to work (except wrapping up things from home, from his old employment)and sharing the load with his mother, looking after all the children. This has placed a great financial drain on them and government money that we all receive for our baby's arrival here in Australia, will most likely not arrive in time for this Christmas period, as they had expected, as this payement will help them out considerably due to the circumstances of the last few months.
If you don't mind offering a prayer that they will re-schedule this a little earlier, if it be God's will?
Many thanks again, love Anne

Stepping up prayers for both Chemai and Augustine. What a testament to LIFE! She's been through so much to bring this precious child into the world.
Our Mother went through so much to bring her Son into the world. I'm sure that she is especially near to Chemai right now, and perhaps it is her wish that their sons share a birthday...
(((LOVE AND HUGS)))
