The family has scheduled a Requiem Mass for Sept 1st, even though the body has NOT been found. Several workers (down from 50 at first) continue the search on the river each day. The core of engineers has lowered the river level so that many more sandbars are exposed. They remain hopeful that he will be found soon, although finding him alive is ruled out now.

If and when the body is found, they will have the burial then.

They have chosen to get back into their normal school & work routine because they feel it will be easier.

My heart breaks for them . . .
