Praying for you and your husband. God knows why He allows these trials, even when we don't. I know that desperate and lonely feeling and pray that it is lifted from you. Praying also for peace for your husband and for whatever conversion is necessary.

Praying for you both. I was wondering if some of dh's reaction has to do with feeling lonely himself -- like he's going to be neglected and "unloved" because a baby requires so much attention? It's just a thought. I find I have to make sure that dh is still my first priority. I'm first a wife, then a mother. It doesn't mean neglecting the baby's needs, but being emotionally there for my dh. It's hard.
