Jenn, if you are having heart arrhythmias, it could also happen when you do things like stretch upwards into a high cabinet...not just sitting to standing. Arms overhead means your heart instantly has to start working harder and that can be enough to start a black out. Also, standing and then quickly bending over into a low cabinet can do it. I avoid blacking out by noticing the signs very early and lying down on my left side immediately...even if that means on the kitchen floor. |

Thanks for the advice. That's where I was yesterday, the kitchen floor. I notice the effects when I bend into our lower cabinets...I have very few upper ones. But that didn't seem to be the case. I have to think it's blood sugar. I just have a tough time keeping my numbers under control. Although I'm not Type 1, the doctors term me "brittle". I am very strict with the diet, but the fluctuations swings are wide. And that's hard on me. Enough complaining, right?

Jenn,
Just seeing this...will keep up our prayers. I laugh at how ds sees our holy candle lit he assumes it is for you.
God bless!
Love,
Mb

Jenn,
This happened to me when my iron was low. MW prescribed rest, meat, greens, and OJ. And rest. Did I mention rest?
Praying for you!

Dear Jenn,
I've been praying for you and your child (I think she's a girl) daily. Might it help to keep a small cooler next to your bed and put in it a bit of yogurt the night before (or keep some other high protein tidbit by your bed -- cottage cheese, cheese, nuts, a slice of turkey, etc) and eat this *BEFORE* you get out of bed in the morning.
This was recommended in a book I have on hypogycemia and it might help you a bit.

I just saw this, Jenn, and will pray for you and your baby. Sorry to hear that you're going through this scary situation.
